Early Voting in Duval County Ends Sunday: Final Weekend Hours for Jacksonville Voters
Jacksonville voters have two days of early voting left. All 24 Duval County sites are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday - after that, the only chance left is Election Day at an assigned precinct.

Early voting for the November 3 general election enters its final weekend in Duval County, and the long weekday hours are over. After a week of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. voting, all 24 early voting sites across the county are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, according to the Duval County Supervisor of Elections. Any registered Duval County voter can cast a ballot at any of the 24 sites during early voting, no matter where in the county they live.
Turnout is running ahead of the county at the Beaches. Ballots cast by voters in the three Beaches cities stood at 29.62 percent of registered voters as of Wednesday night, compared with 24.21 percent countywide, according to Supervisor of Elections data reported this week. Statewide, more than 3.1 million Floridians had cast ballots as of October 27, according to state data. Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland has urged voters to use the early sites or return mail ballots rather than wait for Election Day.
When early voting closes on Sunday, the remaining option is Election Day itself: Tuesday, November 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., when Duval voters must vote at their assigned precinct. Site lists, maps and ballot information are at duvalelections.gov, and the Supervisor of Elections office, at 105 E. Monroe St. in downtown Jacksonville, can be reached at 904-255-VOTE (904-255-8683).
