Duval County Precinct 508 Voters: Your Polling Place Has Moved - Election Day Voting Is at Wayman Temple AME Church South Campus
One Duval County change can still catch a voter on Tuesday: Precinct 508 no longer votes at San Jose Country Club. Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announced the precinct's new Election Day home is Wayman Temple AME Church South Campus, 8855 Sanchez Road - and every Duval voter, in every precinct, must vote at their assigned location on Election Day.

Most of Jacksonville's Election Day rules are the same as every cycle. This one is not, and it applies to one precinct in full: voters in Duval County Precinct 508 will have a new polling place for the 2026 general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3, News4JAX (WJXT) reported in a file opened and read directly by the desk this run. Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announced the change for voters in Precinct 508.
The two addresses are the whole story, and both are stated here exactly as the report carries them. Voters in Precinct 508 will no longer vote at San Jose Country Club, located at 7529 San Jose Blvd. Their new polling location will be Wayman Temple AME Church South Campus, located at 8855 Sanchez Road. Polling places can change from one election cycle to the next because of construction, voter convenience or facility availability, the report states, and voters affected by the change will be mailed an updated voter information card with their new polling location.
The check takes a minute and is the same one the elections office itself points to: voters can confirm their assigned precinct by visiting duvalelections.gov, selecting 'Voter Information' and using the Polling Location Finder, the report states; for more information, voters can call the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office at 904-255-VOTE (8683). Voters who choose to vote on Election Day must vote at their assigned precinct - there is no any-site voting on Tuesday; the 24 early voting sites, where any Duval voter could cast a ballot at any location from Oct. 20 through Sunday, closed with the end of early voting.
What Precinct 508 voters - and all Duval voters - will decide is on the sample ballot the Supervisor of Elections published at duvalelections.gov, including the question of whether the school district can continue its current 1-mill property tax for operating costs, shared with charter schools, as the Jax Times election guide read this run sets out. Polls run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, a picture and signature ID is required, and a mail ballot must be received by the Supervisor of Elections by 7 p.m. on Election Day to count - the desk's full Duval guide is SQ-20261101-063; this file exists because one precinct's room has changed, and a voter who drives to the old one loses time they may not have.
