Florida vs. Georgia Game Day: Kickoff at 3:30 p.m. in Atlanta as the Rivalry Leaves Jacksonville
No. 17 Florida (5-2) meets No. 3 Georgia (6-1) at 3:30 p.m. ET today on ABC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta — the first Florida-Georgia game played outside Jacksonville since the 1994-95 home-and-home series, with EverBank Stadium under renovation.

Jacksonville's biggest football Saturday is being played 340 miles away this year. No. 17 Florida faces No. 3 Georgia at 3:30 p.m. ET today at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, broadcast nationally on ABC, with EverBank Stadium's renovation moving the rivalry out of Jacksonville for two seasons. Georgia leads the all-time series 58-44-2 and has won five straight meetings, including a 24-20 victory last season, according to the game previews read this cycle.
The stakes run in both directions. Florida, 5-2 and 3-2 in the SEC under first-year coach Jon Sumrall, arrives off a 27-24 upset of No. 7 Texas and, as former Georgia player David Pollack put it in his preview, is out of the College Football Playoff race if it loses a third game. Georgia, 6-1 and 4-1 in the SEC, is coming off its first loss, 27-24 at home to Auburn, and has not dropped back-to-back regular-season games since Kirby Smart's first season in 2016, according to the Athens Banner-Herald's preview. ESPN's SP+ metric, cited by Saturday Down South, projects a Georgia win, 36-19.
For Jacksonville, the weekend is a preview of a two-year detour: the rivalry plays at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa next season before its planned return to a renovated EverBank Stadium in 2028. Local fans making the Atlanta trip or watching from home get the same 3:30 p.m. kickoff the game held here — the party has moved, as one Florida preview put it, but the stakes have not gone anywhere.
