Dolphins vs Patriots Final Score: New England Rallies From 13-3 Down to Beat Miami 24-19
Miami led 13-3 at halftime in the rain at Hard Rock Stadium, then gave up 21 straight points. Drake Maye threw touchdown passes of 43 and 48 yards and ran for the go-ahead score, and the Dolphins' late 35-yard touchdown from Malik Willis to Kevin Coleman Jr. was not enough in a 24-19 loss that drops Miami to 1-6.

The Miami Dolphins let a rainy home game get away on Sunday. New England beat Miami 24-19 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, rallying from a 13-3 halftime deficit with 21 unanswered second-half points, Reuters and the Palm Beach Post reported in files opened and read directly by the desk this run. Miami fell to 1-6; New England improved to 5-3.
Drake Maye did the damage after halftime. Maye completed 16 of 20 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns, going 9-of-10 for 146 yards in the second half, Reuters reported. He found Kyle Williams for a 43-yard touchdown to cut the lead to 13-10 with 9:23 left in the third quarter, ran 2 yards for the go-ahead score with 59 seconds left in the third, and hit DeMario Douglas for a 48-yard touchdown with 12:39 left in the fourth after Kevin Byard III intercepted a deflected Malik Willis pass. It was Maye's fifth straight game with at least three total touchdowns, Reuters reported, and he did it with receiver A.J. Brown inactive and tight end Hunter Henry out early with a foot issue.
Willis's own line was respectable in defeat: 21-of-32 for 211 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, sacked five times, the reports state. His second touchdown, a 35-yard strike to rookie Kevin Coleman Jr. with 2:04 left, cut the lead to 24-19 after Zane Gonzalez had missed a 43-yard field goal wide left with 6:45 to go. Miami's two-point try failed, New England recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock, Reuters reported. Rhamondre Stevenson totaled 82 yards on 19 carries for New England; Ollie Gordon II had 69 yards on 19 carries for Miami.
The third quarter remains Miami's undoing: the Palm Beach Post's takeaways file, also read this run, notes the Dolphins entered Sunday with the NFL's second-worst third-quarter point differential and were outgained 139-14 in this one, and have now been outscored 62-23 in third quarters this season. Next for Miami is another home game, against Detroit (5-2) on Nov. 8; New England hosts Green Bay.
