Early Voting Ends Today in Duval County: Sites Open 9 to 5 Sunday at All 24 Locations
Sunday, November 1 is the final day of early voting in Duval County for Tuesday's general election — every site is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., any registered Duval voter can use any site, and a picture and signature ID are required.

Today is the last chance to vote early in Jacksonville. Early voting for the November 3 general election ends Sunday, November 1, in Duval County, with all early voting sites open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Duval County Supervisor of Elections' official dates and deadlines page, read by the desk this run. The early voting period began Tuesday, October 20.
The rules that make the final day the most flexible day still apply: any eligible voter registered and living in Duval County may vote at any of the county's 24 early voting sites during early voting hours, whatever their home precinct — a freedom that disappears on Election Day, when voters must use their assigned polling location. A picture and signature ID are required to vote in person.
The mail-ballot clock is separate and unforgiving. The deadline for the Supervisor of Elections to receive a voted vote-by-mail ballot is Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, at 7 p.m. Eastern — a ballot mailed today is racing that deadline, and the elections office's published deadlines leave no general extension, apart from the 10-day overseas-voter extension for ballots postmarked by Election Day. Voters curing a signature deficiency or supplying provisional-ballot evidence have until November 5 at 5 p.m.
After 5 p.m. today, the next and last window is Election Day itself: Tuesday, November 3, polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at assigned precincts. Duval is one of the few Northeast Florida counties voting early on Sunday at all — most neighboring counties closed early voting Saturday — which makes today's eight hours the region's final early shift.
