Jacksonville Women's Soccer Beats North Florida 2-0 to Complete the First Sweep in Rivalry History
Millie Urquhart scored the winner in the 48th minute and Julia Delprat buried a penalty as Jacksonville beat UNF 2-0 on Sunday, finishing the regular season 6-7-4 and taking the No. 5 seed into the ASUN tournament.

For the first time in the history of the River City rivalry, Jacksonville has swept North Florida in a season. The Dolphins beat the Ospreys 2-0 on Sunday afternoon to close the regular season, Jacksonville University's official athletics site reported — completing a two-game season sweep, home and away, a year after JU managed a win and a draw in the series.
Three-time ASUN Defensive Player of the Week Millie Urquhart scored the game's winner in the 48th minute, off an assist in the box by Nahia Morales Lopez. The insurance goal arrived in the 67th minute: Madelyn Radtke was fouled in the box, and sophomore Julia Delprat buried the penalty kick in the bottom left corner. Delprat now leads the team with five goals; Urquhart is tied for second with four.
Junior keeper Taylor Gardner pitched the shutout — her third full 90-minute shutout of the year and JU's first shutout win over UNF since 2023 — making three saves. Jacksonville's defense limited UNF to three shots on goal, tied for the Ospreys' second-worst mark of the season and tied for their worst in ASUN play. The Dolphins finished the regular season 6-7-4 overall and 4-4-2 in the ASUN.
“It's great momentum to end on a good win,” head coach Ryan Moon said in the school's report. “Specifically happy with a clean sheet defensively and a game where we showed our identity well. Excited for next week.” Next week is the postseason: Jacksonville is the No. 5 seed and plays fourth-seeded West Florida on Thursday, November 5, at 7 p.m. in Fort Myers at FGCU, on ESPN+ — a rematch of a 3-1 loss in Pensacola earlier this season, in the program's third consecutive postseason under Moon.
