Icemen Beat Atlanta 4-3 in Overtime: Ambrosio Wins It After the Gladiators Tie It With 49 Seconds Left
Jacksonville led 3-1, gave the lead back in the final minute of regulation, and still won it in overtime — Colby Ambrosio's goal at 6:39 of the extra period gave the Icemen a 4-3 Halloween-afternoon win over the Atlanta Gladiators at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Jacksonville Icemen needed overtime to finish a game they had led by two. Colby Ambrosio scored at 6:39 of overtime, assisted by Kuzma, to give Jacksonville a 4-3 win over the Atlanta Gladiators on Saturday afternoon at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, according to the ECHL's official box score.
Jacques Bouquot put Jacksonville ahead 6:05 into the game, and after Atlanta's Ethan Strang tied it late in the first period, the Icemen rebuilt the lead in the second: Timothy Heinke scored at 10:26 and Bouquot added his second of the afternoon at 12:46 for a 3-1 lead. Bouquot finished with two goals and Griebel with two assists for Jacksonville.
Atlanta forced overtime the hard way. Austin Roest's power-play goal at 9:39 of the third period cut the lead to one, and Samuel Tremblay tied the game at 19:11 — with 49 seconds left in regulation — before Ambrosio ended it in the extra period. Shots finished even at 26-26, and Jacksonville goaltender Michael Bullion made 23 saves in the win.
