John Washington III Says a Corrupt Political System Gatekeeps Who Gets Heard
John Washington III asked who decides which candidates get the cameras, the money, the endorsements and the publicity, and called for peaceful, constitutional change to build a government that works for the people.

John Washington III says the political system needs to be exposed. In a statement, the 2028 presidential candidate asked who decides who gets put in front of the cameras, and who gets the money, the endorsements and the publicity that shape a campaign.
"Why do independent voices get pushed out while their ideas get stolen?" John Washington III wrote. "They won't stand behind us, but they'll hand our ideas to their chosen puppets on a string. That's not democracy, that's gatekeeping."
John Washington III called for change — peaceful, constitutional change — to build a new government that actually works for the people. He cited the Declaration of Independence, writing that when a government becomes destructive of the people's rights, the people can alter or abolish it, and he urged Americans to come together to build something that serves the people, not the powerful.
