Jacksonville Sharks Set Free-Agent Tryouts for November 14 as the Club Builds Toward 2027
Jacksonville's arena football club is between seasons, and its listed next step is an open door: free-agent tryouts on November 14 for players hoping to make the 2027 roster.
The Jacksonville Sharks are in their offseason, and the club's next date on the calendar is a tryout. The Sharks' official site lists free-agent tryouts for November 14 as the club looks toward the 2027 season, according to the Halloween weekend guide published by 904 Culture, which surveyed the local sports calendar for this weekend.
There is no Sharks game this weekend — the club is between seasons while the rest of Jacksonville's Halloween sports slate runs from Hodges Stadium to VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. For an arena team, the November tryout is the standard first building block of the next roster: a one-day evaluation where unsigned players run drills in front of the coaching staff, weeks before camp decisions are made. Players interested in attending should confirm the time, venue and any registration requirements on the club's official site before traveling, as tryout details can change.
The tryouts land on a full local calendar: they come two weeks after a Halloween weekend that put the Icemen, Sporting JAX and the Florida–Georgia rivalry on Jacksonville's sports pages, and on the same weekend the Jaguars are deep into the second half of their season. A game-night and roster file will follow when the club announces its next steps toward 2027.
