JTA Service Changes Start Today: Four Routes Eliminated, a New Route 34, New Schedules Across the System and the Skyway Paused
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority's next round of service adjustments takes effect Monday, November 2: schedule changes on more than two dozen routes, route changes on seven, Routes 18, 25, 32 and 82 eliminated, a new Route 34 added, and Skyway operations paused from today.

If you ride the bus in Jacksonville, your route may have changed this morning. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority's next round of service adjustments begins Monday, November 2, 2026, the authority states on its official service-changes page, opened and read directly by the desk this run. Patrons will see schedule changes for Routes 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 53, 81, the 105 Orange Line and the 202 Mayport Express, the authority says.
Four routes are gone. Routes 18, 25, 32 and 82 are eliminated under the changes, the authority's page states. Seven routes have route changes - Routes 10, 23, 24, 28, 31, the 105 Orange Line and the one addition in the package, the new Route 34.
Downtown's elevated mover is part of the same effective date: Skyway operations are paused beginning Monday, November 2, the authority says, and its Skyway page carries alternative routes for riders planning a trip. The desk covered the Skyway's early staffing shutdown announcement in October (SQ-20261031-036); today's file is the systemwide change taking effect, not a repeat of that announcement.
New schedules can be picked up at the JRTC at LaVilla, a public library, a Tax Collector's office or CareerSource Northeast Florida, the authority says, and full route details are on its service-changes page. Riders with questions can reach JTA Customer Service at (904) 630-3100, the number the authority lists on the page.
